SLVL is managed by Linga Group B.V. (Linga Management), Maastricht, The Netherlands. Linga Group handles this website, the mailbox below and the drop signups on SLVL's behalf and on his instructions, which makes them a processor of your data under the GDPR.

For anything about your data, contact bryan@linga-group.com. We answer within one month, as required by law.

What we collect and why

If you sign up for drops. You give us your email address or your phone number. We use it to send you updates about new music, tour dates, ticket sales and merchandise. That is all we use it for. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with advertisers.

If you email us. We keep your message and your address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

When you visit this site. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to serve the site and to keep it secure and available.

Legal basis

We send you marketing messages only on the basis of your consent(Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by signing up and which you can withdraw at any time. Replying to your emails and keeping the site running securely rest on ourlegitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in communicating with you and operating this website.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers, who act on our instructions only:

  • Laylo — our signup and messaging platform. Your email address or phone number is stored there and used to send you the messages you asked for. See Laylo's privacy and GDPR policy.
  • Netlify — hosting of this website and its server logs.
  • Linga Group B.V. — SLVL's management, who operate this website and the signup list on his behalf.

Both are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards agreed with each provider.

Beyond these, we do not pass your data on to anyone, unless we are legally required to do so.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts. Nothing is loaded from third parties while you browse. That is why you are not asked for cookie consent.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our list. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed for the conversation and our administration. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask which data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to our use of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect what happened before.

The quickest way to stop messages is the unsubscribe link in any email, or replying STOP to any text message. For anything else, email bryan@linga-group.com.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Automated decisions

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes affecting how we use your data, we will tell you directly.
